Each artwork is created from a high-resolution archival scan of an original 35mm slide transparency from the Peter Crawford Archive.

Presented within a transparency mount, these works preserve the character and materiality of the photographic archive, celebrating not only the image itself but also the era and process from which it emerged.

Archival markings, numbering and signs of use may form part of the artwork, offering a connection to decades of surfing, travel, music and Australian culture documented by Peter Crawford.
